	MACY's 2011 Spring Season Virtual Prototype Store This spring we brought Macys prototypical	tour highlights
	virtual store tour to a whole new level with several tehnological advancements. 3 Floors to explore. Interactive virtual tour walkthroughs and details. And again it was a very intense visual merchandising project that we managed to accomplish in just 2 weeks.

We are constantly working on perfecting the technology, here are some of the features available now:

interactive elements in each panoramic scene;

audio, animation and video effects on "mouse-over";

directional soundtrack (the sound fades away as you turn your back to the soundsource and becomes louder when you face it);

high-quality zoom: our images do not get blurry when you zoom in, they stay sharp and clear;

interactive map with directional indication of your current viewing angle;

browseable tour scenes: feel free to walk the entire tour as if it was a computer game;

sophisticated navigation menus, intro with registration and feedback options;

amazing degree of overall project interactivity. One may argue that a video tour achieves the same goal, but it is not true. With video you loose interaction with your customer.
